Representing Internet-based marketing and gaming entities, brick and mortar businesses looking to establish and develop a presence in the online world, as well as artists and entrepreneurs in their online endeavors, Jon’s counsel combines advice regarding general corporate law and transactional issues, with a detailed knowledge of intellectual property law, privacy and disclosure rules, data protection regulations, direct mail, telemarketing, mobile and e-mail marketing laws, including CAN-SPAM and FTC marketing regulations, as well as general legal compliance specific to the Internet space.
In addition, Jon drafts and negotiates applicable sweepstakes and promotion contest rules, Internet-based agreements and data management agreements, as well as mobile applications, software, hardware and technology licensing agreements.
He is also adept with regulations and issues associated with Internet poker law, fantasy sports law, sweepstakes law, promotions law, gambling law and gaming law, assisting a wide variety of clients currently operating in those areas and more.
In the field of entertainment law, Jon represents musicians, actors and filmmakers in their creative endeavors, including creating corporate entities for their products, as well as drafting and negotiating all manner of entertainment-related agreements.
